“I’m going to art college to earn a qualification in art”

Artists Sarah MacHenry and Annie Beech developed a programme of activities that allowed mums and toddlers to work together on individual artworks, as well as creating a banner which was hung at the refuge.

Many of the activities that the women did were replicated with the children in their care, and themes were based around ways of engaging young children creatively.
